Quercetin — Supplements
Flavonoid antioxidant with senolytic, anti-inflammatory, and immune-modulating properties.
Overview
Quercetin is a ubiquitous plant flavonoid found in onions, apples, and berries with broad-spectrum biological activity. It functions as a potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory agent, and one of the first identified natural senolytics (eliminates senescent cells) when combined with dasatinib. Quercetin inhibits multiple inflammatory pathways (NF-kB, NLRP3 inflammasome, COX/LOX) and has demonstrated antiviral properties against influenza and rhinovirus. Bioavailability is enhanced by co-administration with vitamin C or bromelain.
