Thymalin — Khavinson thymic polypeptide bioregulator / immune regulator
Thymalin is a polypeptide complex extracted from bovine thymus gland. Its active dipeptide component Thymagen (Lys-Glu) restores T-cell maturation, normalizes CD4/CD8 ratios, enhances NK cell activity, and reactivates immune gene expression programs that decline with aging. Different from Thymosin Alpha-1 (which is a defined 28-amino acid peptide). Thymalin works via epigenetic gene regulation pathways at the chromatin level.
