Chonluten (AEDG sequence, same as Epithalon structurally but bronchial origin) targets lung tissue. In vitro THP-1 monocyte study: inhibited TNF and IL-6 production in LPS-stimulated cells, increased tyrosine phosphorylation of mitogen-activated kinases. Clinical study (n=47, chronic bronchitis with asthmatic component): 82% of patients showed improved health status, reduced coughing, decreased sputum, and disappearance of wheezing.
